Check the fixture first
- Check the latest recorded time and any accepted reschedule. Open match chat and contact the opponent.
- Follow the event's waiting and default rules. Tell your teacher if you cannot establish contact.
- If Smart Match Recovery is offered, read its time window and conditions before entering. A rostered player or school teacher can manage participation in recovery.
- Watch for updates. Recovery may pair available teams into a replacement match; use the updated fixture and room. Entering recovery does not guarantee a replacement opponent.
If there is no replacement
Use the available default submission or request staff help according to the event rules. Keep the conversation and evidence in the original match room so staff can review it.
If the opponent arrives or circumstances change while recovery is pending, use the available cancellation control or contact staff. Check the current fixture before starting to play.
